First day of school:
  Today is 'B's very first day of school! He is in Kindergarten this year, and holy cow, I am getting older. I was really worried for him, I thought he was going to have a meltdown, and I was going back home with him. As much as I would have loved for this to happen, just because I will miss him not being here, he didn't. Not one stinkin' tear or sniffle or worrisome question. I guess he was ready. Breaks my heart, but I know, he will love it! He went in, hung up his book bag, gave his lunch money to the teacher, and then found a seat at a table.

  Where he started to color and cut out pictures. OK then. Do you think I could possibly maybe get a goodbye from you? *Nothing* Bhahaha. I just kept saying, "OK, I am leaving now.... I love you, have a good day, are you OK? You know I am leaving right?" LOL. And all I got in return was, " Bye, Love you, OK, yes, yes ma'am" :)  Such a big boy now. More to report when he gets home.

Scavenger Hunt:

  Now Wednesday, since it was getting closer to school starting, I made a scavenger hunt for the kids to do. There were literally 4 things to grab from outdoors, and I made them easy, It was too hot outside to be out there long. But I made them find things like, a purple crayon, a mini hair bow, red & yellow block, a 'little people', flower, rock, leaf, grass, a car from the game of 'Life', a juice box, and a handi snacks cheese & crackers. Of course, the last two they had to find, they got to eat for a snack. It was actually quite fun.

  Will be posting pics below. B enjoyed it more, he is into that sort of stuff, Ladybug not so much. We decorated strawberry containers, I had been saving for days like this, and tied some string to them to make then easier to carry. Then, I printed out their list, and off we went. Ladybug didn't want to put a check in the box, she wanted to color the whole page, and B was in hunting mode. He wanted to get it found, check it off, and go to the next. All in all, it was fun, hot, and entertaining!

Cupcakes:

  Also on Wednesday, my neighbor and good friend Kate, asked me if I would make some Cookies-n-Cream cupcakes for her to take to work. Of course, I am all for this, so off I went to purchase cookies and some cupcake containers. I just adore making cupcakes, especially, for someone so sweet. The icing was ready to be piped on, and crap!, stupid random cookie chunks kept clogging me up. Argh!

  I didn't have this problem last time I made these! Oh well. Next time, I will make sure they are finely chopped. My food processor and I are having issues. I don't like the way it works, and it doesn't like the way I yell and hit at it. LOL. Sounds like my marriage some days!!! (If your reading this: "I Love you baby.") The finished product turned out nicely, I used double my secret ingredient, and added some crushed cookies in the batter. YUM.

I am pooped. Off to clean the house. Hubs has been out of town for work, so I have been slack on 'my chores', this house is a wreck. (Yet again, if your reading this, I love you baby!!!) I added an adorable picture of one of our danes Milo with Ladybug!

$ Day of Law $

Well, today I am stuck in the office with my attorneys and with some other people. Cannot really go into much detail, not yet, anyways. But let's just say that I was wanting to stay home and bake up some new cupcake flavors and not here doing this tit for tat meeting. SO. This I guess you could say is going to be a short post, I really just needed something to do, to keep me from going insane. On another note, how was everyones weekend? Mine was OK, did some bathroom remodeling ( will def post pics) and some swimming with the kiddos. I wish it weren't so rainy here, but I guess rainy is better than, 110 heat index. Ahh the ramblings of a bored, should be at home, mommy. Until my next post. Please pray I make it out of here without screaming infidelities at some ignorant mindless little man! :) ::Kristin::

$ Frazzled - Not Dazzled $

  My daughter will be the death of my sanity. I repeat, MY DAUGHTER WILL BE THE DEATH OF MY SANITY. Here lately Ladybug has been sooo great! So helpful, manners, learning to say prayer before dinner, clearing her plate, and what not. But today! WOW. Today was a completely different child. Woke up, things were fine, made a grocery list and headed out the door. My mom came along with us and when we got to Wal-Mart, my mom said she had to tinkle.

  Well, Ladybug heard her and needed to go to, and her brother as well. I started to walk towards produce when I hear Ladybug screaming bloody murder. Of course, I know she will be fine, she just wanted mommy. I started to duck and dodge her view of me, mean, but hey sometimes you gotta not be seen. Well some genius customer at a register near her was pointing me out to her, making it 10x worse. THANK YOU MR. At this point, she is getting louder and louder. I walk my not so happy little butt over there and when I walk up, there is an employee (in 60's) shushing my daughter!

  Wait a second, you mean to tell me that MY DAUGHTER, is the ONLY child to ever scream in Wal-mart?! Do you really want her to scream? Her brother does that to her and she gets LOUDER. ugh. Sometimes people need to MYOB. Well when I got to her she was still crying and on the floor, so I grabbed her arm to help her up, and she gets mad. And when she got mad, do you know what this angel did?!  It is 9:30 AM, so there isn't hardly anyone in the store BUT workers.

   They are looking at me like I am killing her and need to be detained! Any who, do you know what she did!? She pulls her feet up to her chest at the same time I am pulling her off the floor, and there she is...... Screaming, Crying, and Dangling by her arm in the middle of 8 different employees! WOW. We have just hit an all time low. She has never acted like that. So once I get her up in my arms, I carry her to the potty and proceed to talk to her very calmly. Even though, she is STILL screaming and it is echoing out to the store, I sit her down on the changing table and calmly tell her that big girls DO NOT act that way.

  If she wanted mommy to go with her, all she had to do was say so, there was NO need to do what she just did. "Yes Ma'am mommy".... All of that for nothing! She still went to the potty, with ME, and still when I came out I got the evil eye from all of them. I even had one lady watching me til I went out of her sight. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! She is 2 and a spoiled little butthead sometimes, don't look at me like I did something wrong. Oh, and to the woman who Shused my daughter: "SSSSSHHHHHHHHH.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Please tell me it only get better from here.

  Now back to the most boring and mundane task I like to call: Laundry. At least it isn't screaming at me. I really thought DFCS was going to show up and arrest me! UGH. Ok, I'm done, Promise.

Thursdays Blog Hops & Sick baby boy

Getting your bunny legs on and Hop on over! (Yes,lame, I know.) One of those mornings.

  My darling 'B' woke up yesterday morning with a smidgen of a fever. So, in went the Motrin and ice water, and he told me that he felt fine and still wanted to go about our day. Are you sure? YES. OK. So, off we went to the IHOP for some Minionade and pancakes. Which, by the way, that Minionade rocks! I kept asking him over and over if he still felt good enough for a surprise, and of course, he was. His fever hadn't returned yet, so off we went, I could tell he was sick because when we pulled up to the mall he got super upset and just started to cry and tell me that 'THAT IS NOT A SURPRISE'! "Whoa! Hunny, how do you know?

  It is THE MALL, there are a ton of things in there that could be a 'surprise' ". He realized how he was acting and immediately calmed down, we walked in and just sat down on a bench, then after 5 minutes we walked over to the playground. They had a blast at the playground! It is super cute, it is a section in the middle of the food court, where there are roads, cars, boats, bridges, rocks, rivers, and trees which are all made out of foam and covered with a plastic type cover and painted. So in other words, they are soft and very durable, they can walk on them, stand on them, the cars have slides built in to slide down them. It's pretty cool. Well, while they were playing, I snuck off (my mom was watching them) so I could go purchase our movie tickets.

  My kids have NEVER been to the movies. Ever. So this ought to be fun. I bought tickets for Toy Story 3, and holy cow, $32.00 for tickets! This is probably why they have never been. And on top of that, of course they were hungry, so I bought a SMALL bag of popcorn and a combo with a Large drink and 5 mini hot dogs, this cost me $17.00! I will be waiting for the next movie they want to see to come out on dvd. Any who. I watched them play for about 15 minutes and then we headed over. We walked in and I got all the usual questions: "Where are we going?" "What are we doing?" "Why is it so dark?" "Look at the cool cut outs!" "What is all of that noise?" LOL.

  So I told them we were at the movie theater, I literally got a look from the both of them like I had lost my mind, then I said "its a place with NOTHING but movies playing all day on HUGE screens. The look was a little better, then I mentioned TS3, and they seemed happy.  Not over joyed, like I was hoping for, but happy would do.  We went in sat down, there were literally 4 other families when all was said and done, which made me feel 10x better. I DO NOT DO THEATERS. The last time I was in one, well the second to the last time, I had a panic attack (b/c of all the people) and had to leave 5 min. in. So, I was skeptical and felt better once I saw how little people were in there.

  Any who, movie was great, kind of a tearjerker near the end. Yes, I shed a tear or two, I am a softy. :) Ladybug fell asleep about an hour in to the show and B stayed awake the whole time. I think he liked it, but he was just, not feeling too well. Got home and of course he didn't want to eat much dinner, and he went to bed and fell right to sleep. (Another sign he is sick, he is actually sleeping) This morning he has a Dr.'s appointment and when he woke up he had a higher fever than yesterday. Not to mention, he scared me, I woke up and he was in the kitchen getting some water.

   I walked in and he is wheezing so bad, like he couldn't catch his breath, and I made him lay down so I could pat his back and break up some of the stuff. Ugh. Poor thing, I don't think he has ever been this sick, I hate it for him. He just wanted a Popsicle for breakfast, fine with me baby, of course ladybug did too. But she isn't sick, so she received some pop tarts and fruit salad. :) Well I should be getting in the shower and heading to the Dr. Hope you all have a great day, and for those of you in this horrid heat, STAY COOL. I think yesterday or the day before our heat index was 117, in GA!!! Autumn hurry home.
